Sound familiar?

I've made thousands of trades across five exchanges — where do I even start?

I only swapped one token for another — is that really taxable?

What about my staking rewards, airdrops and DeFi yield?

Crypto is our home turf. Here's what we take off your plate.

What we sort for you

Every chain, every transaction, accounted for.

Full CGT calculation — we apply HMRC's share-pooling (Section 104) rules across every exchange and wallet.
Income vs gains, sorted — staking, mining, airdrops and referral rewards classified and taxed correctly.
DeFi & NFTs handled — liquidity pools, lending, wrapping and NFT trades, untangled.
Losses put to work — we register capital losses to offset gains and cut your bill, now and in future years.
Shares, funds & forex — Capital Gains on stocks and ETFs, dividend income and day-trading positions, calculated alongside your crypto.
Behind on filings? — we handle voluntary disclosures to HMRC discreetly and get you compliant.

Crypto tax questions, answered

Do I pay tax on cryptocurrency in the UK?

Usually yes. Most investors pay Capital Gains Tax when they dispose of crypto (sell, swap or spend it), and Income Tax on things like staking and mining rewards — and on airdrops where you received them in return for a service. We work out which applies to each transaction.

Is swapping one coin for another taxable?

Yes — HMRC treats a crypto-to-crypto swap as a disposal, so a gain or loss arises even though you never cashed out to pounds. This catches a lot of people out; we make sure it's captured.

How are staking and airdrops taxed?

Staking and mining rewards are typically taxed as income at the value you received them, then for Capital Gains Tax when you later dispose of them. Airdrops are different: HMRC only treats them as income if you got them in return for a service — a plain unsolicited airdrop usually has no Income Tax on receipt, just CGT when you sell. We track both stages so nothing's double-counted or missed.

I've made losses — is there any upside?

Yes. Registering capital losses with HMRC lets you offset them against current or future gains, potentially saving you thousands. It's one of the most-missed opportunities — and one of the first things we check.

Do I pay tax on shares, stocks or forex trading?

Usually yes — Capital Gains Tax on the profit when you sell shares, ETFs or spot and CFD forex positions, and Income Tax on dividends. One important exception: forex traded through spread bets is treated as betting and falls outside Capital Gains Tax entirely, so those positions aren't taxed as gains. The same share-pooling rules we apply to crypto apply to shares too, so we calculate it all consistently across your whole portfolio.
